Mrs. Strong has over 15 years of experience teaching visual art to students ranging from kindergarten through twelfth grade. As a high school teacher, she taught classes such as advanced sculpture, helped develop art curriculum across her district, and served as lead sponsor for the National Art Honor Society. At the grammar level, she delights in helping students explore various art media—including ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpting, collage, and printmaking.
Most importantly, Mrs. Strong loves the Lord Jesus Christ, and she’s thrilled to have the opportunity to tell students of God’s beauty and His love for them as they study visual art. She and her husband are members of Radiant Church in Overland Park.
Mrs. Strong has her Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Art Education from Kansas State University and her Master of Arts in Visual Art Education from the University of Kansas.
