About Amy King

Mrs. King taught kindergarteners in public school, five-day private school, and co-op settings before having children. Over the next decade, she continued substitute teaching while educating her two sons—both of whom became National Merit Scholars and are now in and preparing to start college. 

Mrs. King is passionate about guiding students and families through the crucial early years of education, building a solid foundation for good character, love of learning, and academic success. She delights in young children, believing that they are often underestimated in the capacity of their minds and hearts to gain the knowledge and wisdom God offers through studying His Word, and she is eager to help our kindergarteners know and love Jesus with their whole beings through patience and creative instruction. 

Mrs. King has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Taylor University. She and her husband are members of Ascend Church.
