About Alex Mueller

Alex Mueller is a Kansas City native whose commitment to education is deeply rooted in his upbringing. Raised in public schools by parents who served as educators in both public and private schools, Alex developed an early appreciation for the formative role education plays in shaping a child’s character, curiosity, and lifelong love of learning. His personal experiences, along with the perspective gained through his parents’ work, strengthened his desire to help cultivate a strong educational foundation for his own family and community.

Alex earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Kansas State University, with a minor in Leadership Studies. He currently serves as Vice President of Finance & Strategy at a Kansas City–based cybersecurity company, where he brings experience in finance, strategy, leadership, and organizational stewardship. Alex and his wife, Maggie, have three sons and are grateful to be part of the Knox Classical community, where they have the opportunity to support an education grounded in faith, virtue, and a lifelong pursuit of wisdom.

Outside of his professional life, Alex enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, including fishing, hiking, and exploring. He also has a lifelong passion for sports and enjoys coaching his sons’ teams. Alex, Maggie, and their boys attend Hope Community Church in Leawood, Kansas.
