About Susan Phillips

Mrs. Phillips is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the school and supporting students and families. Mrs. Phillips taught as a Classical Conversation tutor for seven years before becoming a trainer and ultimately nine-year director of the Classical Conversations Challenge program in Overland Park. She’s deeply familiar with the classical Christian pedagogy and classically educated her own children, in addition to her fifteen years of experience working for Classical Conversations. 

Mrs. Phillips is actively involved at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, where her husband serves as an elder. She is also involved in leadership at American Heritage Girls and serves at the New Hope Food Pantry. Mrs. Phillips has her Bachelor of Arts in Music – Vocal Performance from John Brown University.
