About Shannon Calloway

Mrs. Calloway brings to Knox Classical a passion for and deep knowledge of classical Christian pedagogy and curriculum, combined with over 25 years of experience teaching in hybrid schools, co-ops, and traditional classrooms. Mrs. Calloway loves to give students the chance to learn through hands-on projects and desires to support homeschooling parents, having classically educated her three children at home. 

Mrs. Calloway earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Kansas State University. She and her husband are members of Lenexa Baptist Church, where she serves the church’s children by teaching in AWANA, Vacation Bible School, and other contexts.
