Admissions Process

Knox Classical will accept applications for students entering kindergarten through sixth grade for the 2027–2028 academic year.

Ready to choose a different path?

Choosing a school for your child is one of the most significant decisions you will make as a parent. We understand that the process can feel both exciting and overwhelming as you prayerfully consider the educational setting in which your child will learn and grow.

At Knox Classical, we believe that successful school partnerships require shared values and a common vision for education. Our goal is not merely to guide families through the steps of our admissions process but to help them prayerfully discern whether partnering with Knox Classical is the right fit for their child and family.

Our info meetings provide a comprehensive introduction to our Christ-centered, classical, collaborative, and covenantal approach to education, which is why we require attendance as the first step in our admissions process.

We invite you to join us for an upcoming info meeting and look forward to getting to know your family.

  • Vibrantly engaged in their local church
  • Able and eager to devote home days to the academic instruction of their children, embracing both the challenges and joys of this endeavor
  • Willing to cooperate cheerfully with decisions of school leadership and faculty
  • Desiring to contribute to the continued flourishing and growth of our school community

Taking a New Path: Transfer Students

While our academic program is cumulative by design, students from different academic backgrounds (public school, non-classical private school, and home school) have successfully transferred into our classical classrooms at every grade level. Our team is prepared to guide parents and students through the academic part of this transition, and current parents and students are eager to welcome new families into our school community.

What Our Parents Are Saying

"Feeling like I am taking ownership over my child’s education has made me feel more capable as a parent, and like I really know what she’s learning. I can have really substantial conversations with her now over every subject she’s learning and know what to ask about the days she’s on campus because I am more involved than I would be at any other school."

Non-Discrimination Policy

Knox Classical School admits students of any race, sex, color, or national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally afforded or made available to students at the school. Knox Classical School does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, color, or national or ethnic origin in administering the school’s educational policies and practices; admission, financial assistance, and scholarship policies; or athletic and other school-administered programs. Knox Classical School reserves the right to select students on the basis of academic performance.

As a religious educational organization, Knox Classical School reserves the right to use religion in hiring and admission because of its objective, mission, and vision as a Christian, faith-based institution. Knox Classical School believes that it partners with parents seeking to fulfill their responsibility under Deuteronomy 6 and Ephesians 6 by providing a Christian education to children. Knox Classical School thus discriminates on the basis of religion and conduct based on its religious beliefs. This includes the religious commitment, lifestyle choices, and personal conduct of students and families, as well as their willingness to abide by Knox Classical School’s policies and cooperate with its administrators. At times, a family’s lifestyle may be in such conflict with or opposition to Knox Classical School’s Statement of Faith that the school may, within its sole discretion, determine that it is not in the best interest of the student or the school to admit the student or continue the student’s enrollment. For how “[d]o two walk together, unless they have agreed to meet?”  (Amos 3:3).
